I made an Easter card a couple of weeks back using this frame and decided while I had it out I would use it again for another Easter card using the newly released Bunny Back from Frantic Stamper. For my background I inked my embossing folder and spritzed it with water. I added the frame and then attached another yellow flower to it, and styled and added the bunny on foam dots. For his tale I filled it up with fun flock and kept pressing it down so it would be sure to stay in the tale. A few sequins finished off my card. Thanks for having a look.

Hello! This is my card for this week's Clean and Simple challenge over at Splitcoaststampers, where we are to use glitter on our sentiment. For my card I once again did the Faux Fresco technique for my background using Easter colours. I added a couple of bunnies that I styled and attached on foam dots and added the glitter sentiment. And, some candy for those bunnies by way of sequins, crystals and some pearl eyes! Thanks for having a look.

The Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers was to visit a site inspired by all things minimalist. Certainly, there was much to inspire, but in the end I kept coming back to this room. It reminds me of my cottage days. For my card, I inked my stamp with distressed ink and spritzed with water. I then embossed my wall panel with my distressed stripes embossing folder and attached on foam strips. I added the branch and the bird, which is on a foam dot. Then a few sequins and gems to finish ....

My card for the colour challenge at Splitcoaststampers today. I actually had the background embossed already for another project and never used it, so here it is on this card. I used the colours from the challenge in the background and with Tim Holtz Distress Inks sponged on the tags. I coloured the little flower with Spectrum Noir Markers. It is simple and easy to mail which is what I was aiming for. Thanks for having a look.

It is my turn to host the CAS challenge at Splitcoaststampers today, and my challenge is all about the Daffodil, who I call Flirty, Fancy and Frilly. For my card I die cut the daffodils and coloured with Spectrum Noir Markers. I added Wink of Stella along the tops and styled before attaching. The sentiment is cut from foam and colour has been added to the top of the sentiment. I finished with a few crystals. Thanks for looking ...

For the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers today we had a visit to a website called Total Wallcovering. I picked this as my inspiration. I coloured my butterfly with Spectrum Noir Markers and styled before attaching to the embossed background. A bit of edging with the markers and some sparkle finished my card. Thanks for having a look.

This is the card I did for the Clean and Simple Challenge at Splitcoaststampers. The challenge this week is to make a card with elements that spell out the word LOVE. First I will tell you about the card. The violet panel is fabric that I scanned and printed on cardstock. I die cut it with a die that makes it appear to fold around, like fabric would. I embossed the base for my panel, and added the sentiment and a ladybug along with some pearls to finish. This was a fun card to make. Thanks for looking.
L - Ladybug, Leafy vine in embossing
O - One sentiment
V - Violet colour
E - Embossing Folder

This bright and happy card I did for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers. It has been such ugly weather this neck of the woods so I wanted some brightness added to my world. The challenge was to pick a colour combination and design our card around it. I picked Sunny Citrus for my inspiration and have a picture of my inspiration below. I started by embossing my background with a polka dot embossing folder. I then arranged vellum circles in the colours from my inspiration. For my butterfly I ran out of the ice colour glitter paper, so I had to use a bright gold. To change the colour I first heat embossed my butterfly on the glitter paper using white embossing powder. I then coloured with the orange ranges of markers and then used the blending pen to bring out the white embossing lines. To finish I added the circle Smile sentiment along with some sequins and crystals ... and then I smiled. Thanks for having a look.

I did this card for the Easter 2016 release at Frantic Stamper. These little chicks are too cute and I love that they style beautifully, which gives wonderful dimension to my card. I used designer paper to show off the Spring Chicks, which I coloured with Spectrum Noir Markers. I added the Easter Block sentiment, along with a few punched flowers, crystals and brad eggs. I am not fussed on brads so I always take the prongs off and glue them on my projects. Such a fun card to make. Thanks for having a look.

I wanted to use the new Easter sentiment from Frantic Stamper as my focal for this card, and still have my card feel like an Easter card. I think I achieved the look I wanted by using the floral print designer paper for my background, and by including the frame as part of my design. The frame is cut from white cardstock and accented with the yellow in the flower. I die cut the sentiment from the yellow Bazzill cardstock and backed the Bazzill with 120lb cardstock to keep it sturdy for gluing. For some fun I added a few bunnies from the Bunny Confetti die, along with an egg brad and sequins, pearls and crystal. Thanks for having a look today.

I call this bunny "Happy Wiggles". This bunny is also part of the Easter Release 2016 from Frantic Stamper. To show her off I die cut in a bright pink and mounted her on foam dots, then used pastel shades for the egg, and shadowed with the coordinating pastel yellow. I embossed the background in the basket weave pattern and added the banners done in the pastel shades along with some metallic threads. To finish my card I added the Easter sentiment and a few sequins and crystals. Thanks for having a look.
This is another card I did for part of the Easter Release 2016 over at Frantic Stamper . For this card I used the new Bunny Butt in my design. Even the name has me giggling! I coloured my "butt", background and sentiment using Spectrum Noir markers. The top panel is on foam strips and I embossed the background to look like grass, he is looking for those eggs that are hidden for the children, that little devil! I had fun making this, and hope you enjoy this card. Thanks for having a look.

I made this card as part of the February 2016 Easter Release release at Frantic Stamper. These tiny little bunnies, called Bunnies Confetti, are so much fun to play with and I certainly enjoyed creating this little scene with the bunnies. I made a Faux Fresco background for my scene and used the matching die for the leaf vines. I then added the grasses and shrubs for the bunnies to frolic in and finished with a few butterflies.

I did this card for the Featured Stamper Challenge at Splitcoaststampers this week. For a change of pace a scrapbooker is featured, and while I am not a scrapbooker, I did find inspiration from this scrapbook page. I loved the background and wanted to try and recreate that look while keeping a monochromatic look for my card. I embossed the background paper with the leafy vine embossing folder. For my flower background I spritzed the watercolour paper and let the paints run as I turned the paper. Once dry, I stencilled on the diamond pattern using TH Distress Peacock Feathers ink and then stamped the sentiment and daisy in the black and added a few sequins, pearls and crystals to finish - no surprise there eh?

I did this card for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers today where we went to a Pinterest Board called Nail Art. I am not one to paint my nails unless it is in clear polish, but these nails have me reconsidering this, if only for something fun. I picked these pretty nails for my inspiration. I stamped the falling hearts in Tim Holtz Worn Lipstick Distress Ink spritzed lightly with water, then added my sentiment. I die cut the scribble roses and coloured them using Spectrum Noir markers, then styled them slightly before attaching. The striped paper I made in Photoshop. I added my sequins and a few crystals to finish. I really like this card ... and hope you do as well. Thanks for having a look.
